Together, we walked on the path to school
Looking at the spread-out scenery
At the schoolyard in spring, on the floodplain, at the summer festival
We spent these days, laughing and standing by each others' sides

Looking back on these uneventful days
That we spent, from the past, until now
From today, to tomorrow, to the future
I'll keep the bonds I nurtured with everyone in my heart, and walk

The classroom we spent our days in together,
And the rooftop hold such unchanging memories
The autumn school trip, the cultural festival, and Christmas
All of them are important times we spent together as friends

Once those warm, warm days have ended
I knew I would have to move into the far, far future
To set off is sort of sad, but
I believe in these bonds that we share

You softly moved those lips,
"Even when apart, we'll always be friends!"
And upon hearing that, I nodded, and whispered,
"I'm really glad we met..."

Come, let's go on to new tomorrows
With the fortune I got from this town in my heart
For all of these 365 days we spent,
For this special time, thank you, everyone
